apocelipes e85a4b9ff5 refactor(IO): clean up ffAppendFDBuffer 
for 2 reasons:

- Simplify the Code.
- ffAppendFDBuffer can't make assumptions about how the read data will
  be processed, so the trim calls are inappropriate.
